Random Number Generator

Need a fair pick? Set a range, draw as many numbers as you want, and know every result comes from your browser's cryptographic random source.

Private by design: This tool runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type or upload is sent to a server.

How to use Random Number Generator

  1. Set the range. Enter a minimum and maximum. Both ends are included, so 1 to 100 can return 1 or 100.
  2. Choose how many. Type how many numbers to draw. Each one is generated independently.
  3. Pick your options. Turn off duplicates for draws with no repeats, and turn on sorting for an ordered list.
  4. Draw and copy. Press Generate and copy the results with one click for pasting elsewhere.

Random Number Generator Features

  • Uses crypto.getRandomValues, never Math.random
  • Any integer range, both endpoints included
  • Optional no-duplicates mode for unique draws
  • Optional ascending sort of results
  • One-click copy of the full result list
  • Draws up to 1,000 numbers per click

Random Number Generator Frequently asked questions

Every number comes from crypto.getRandomValues, the operating system's cryptographically secure random source, with rejection sampling to remove modulo bias. That is the same source used for password and key generation, far stronger than Math.random.
You get a clear message instead of bad output. For example, asking for 10 unique numbers between 1 and 5 is impossible, so the tool asks you to widen the range or allow duplicates.
For informal draws among friends, clubs or classrooms, yes. For regulated lotteries or gambling, no: those need certified, audited systems and often witnessed draws.
Any range that fits in a 32-bit integer, roughly from -2.1 billion to +2.1 billion. That covers practically any everyday need.
No. Generation happens entirely in your browser. Nothing is logged, stored or transmitted.
