What JSON Schema drafts are supported?

The validator supports draft-04, draft-06, draft-07, draft 2019-09, and draft 2020-12. The correct draft is auto-detected from the $schema property in your schema file.

What information does an error message include?

Each error includes the JSON path to the failing value (e.g. /users/0/email), the schema path (e.g. /properties/email/format), and a human-readable message describing what rule was violated.

Can I validate an array of objects?

Yes. If your JSON is an array, the schema should have type: array with an items definition. Every item in the array is validated against the items schema.

Does it support custom validation keywords?

The validator uses the AJV library which supports standard JSON Schema keywords. Custom vocabulary keywords defined with custom validators are not supported in this browser-based tool.
